SOCCER CAMP

Dates: July 24, 25, 26^th   (T,W, Th)

Time:  10am-12pm 

Location:  *we’ll meet a Dahl Field, beyond the restrooms each day. 

There will be a sports tent if it rains *Ms. Tara’s Preschool is walking distance if we need to change to an indoor location.

Cost: $75.00 per child, 10% discount for sibs, includes a ball!

Age:  available to 3-6 year olds

This camp is sponsored by Ms. Tara’s Preschool. It will be instructed by northwest area select soccer coaches. Both have experience with preschoolers. Bios provided.

Focus is on team building, drills, and fun!

Here’s a description of “Tot Soccer Camp” – Tot soccer is geared towards small children who are interested in the game of soccer. Each day will include fun games and activities cultivating the enjoyment of playing soccer.

You probably have questions about attire ….they don’t need soccer shoes and shin guards (although cleats would be better on grass) – tennis shoes are fine.  Clothes that are weather appropriate and easy to run in please.

Lead Instructor Kyle Langowski – Former WWU assistant coach, Whatcom Soccer Academy tot soccer lead, and current Eastside FC head coach.

Lead Assistant Mary Schroeder- Current WFC Ranger head coach and WSA Assistant Director.

dates for 2012 summer camps are set!  get your child signed up – we’ll be having a lot of fun in our two themed camps this year, art and science.  even a chicken will visit the first day of each camp!   please feel free to contact with any questions you may have.  prices are $65 per camp.

july 10 and 12

art camp

 we’ll make flower pots, do origami, pottery, the paint splatter wheel and walk to the p-patch for lunch

august 21 and 23

science camp

we’ll make bug catchers, study bugs and plants, work in the school garden and walk to the p-patch for lunch

 

• both camps are from 10:10am – 2:00pm
• please bring a brown bag lunch that we can toss when we finish!
• if you are a new family that has not submitted an application, please fill one out and note ** for camp and dates.  otherwise, please email taralance@aol.com with what camp(s) you would like to register for.  please feel free to forward this to your child’s friends.  
• payment is due on the 1st day of camp.  30 day minimum notice for cancellation, please.
